Blanked out panes in frequency band display

In the Noise Filter Settings tab, when I select one of the by frequency band display options, the four panes go white. What's going on? I'm running 6.2 Pro in PS5 64 bit.

Deconvolution

A feature I'd like to see added is deconvolution. As in camera noise reduction improves, there's less of a need for noise removal, but there will always be misfocused or motioned blurred shots. I'd think that NI would be the best place for deconvolution in a workflow, since it measures noise and, II...

Seriously, the noise profile equalizer has different purpose as compared with the "curves" tool in image editors. The equalizer is primarily an indicator of the analysis results, not a control to change the image like the "curves" tool. Vlad From the user's manual: "Therefo...

Curves Interface for Noise Profile Equalizer?

The noise profile equalizer would be much easier to use if there were an option to adjust the values as "curves," changing either the values for the luminance alone or the RGB components seperately. It can be real pain to have to adjust so many sliders individually.

But what about correcting for chromatic abberation?

Where should noise reduction take place in relation to correcting for chromatic abberation? I've been using Neatimage after doing so, mainlybecause of sharpening. However, I wonder if I should be using NI (without sharpening) before correcting for CA- this way the film grain and scanner noise would ...

Frequency

Numerically, how are each of the frequency bands defined? And more importantly, what frequencies do I need to pay attention to for a certain degree of image magnification in a final print? E.g. I scan a 35mm negative at 4000 dpi. Which frequencies are most important -both filtering and sharpening- f...
