Component Viewer resets to All after a new area selected

Hi, It would be nice if the component viewer wouldn't reset to All after a new area is selected. Also would be nice if variant selector would use the available area to display multiple images at the same time - in some intellgent way so that one knows that possibly not all variants are visible at th...

No green mask in Noise Filter settings Component Viewer

Hi, I have noted that the green mask in the component viewer that greatly helped me quickly tune the params is gone. I have seen a comment on a similar question that this is due to some performance issues. As this is used only on a small area while playing with the parameters I think this shouldn't ...

How to use auto auto-fine tune?

Hi, I have downloaded the 3.0 Pro+ and it seems to be much faster than the previous versions. However, initially I did not find how to make NI do auto auto-fine tune with each picture in a batch. Which is because I create batch jobs so that I open the NI and then drag and drop the pictures onto it. ...

Auto auto fine-tune

Hi, I have noticed that if I want higher quality noise removal that it is a good idea to click on auto fine-tune on each individual picture. Does it make sense? If yes then it would be nice if the bacth configuration would include the auto fine-tune checkbox meaning that for each batch processed pic...

It wouldn't be a competition with the specialized EXIF programs like Exifer. It would just optionally leave a trail of waht happened to the picture in the workflow, i.e. record the filtering and the preset and noise profile files used. Done only if specifically enabled. I'd like to have this data in...

Will Photoshop plugin work under Paint Shop Pro 7?

I am using PSP7 and would certainly appreciate if the plugin would work under PSP7. That would be nice, but my main usage is and will be batch jobs.

Moving batch jobs in filtration queue

Although this is eventually doable by other means, i.e. placing currently queued jobs on hold and then adding new ones it would be nice to be able to move the jobs up and down the filtration queue. For example, right now I am doing a big batch with my old pics which will take hours and hours. Meanwh...

Sure, I'd be happy if fellow G2 owners would find these profiles helpful.

Thanks for info and for making this great program. Whomever I show the before and after images there is always a WOW effect.

Canon G2 noise profiles

I have printed the NI calibration target on white and thick color copy paper on HP Color Laserjet 4500N. Then when the sun was rather low on horizon (so I could do all ISO settings under the same circustamstances and in one go) set the white balance to the central area 128 and took 5 shots each (ISO...

That's great! Just remember that not all cameras place ISO information in EXIF info in the same way. While doing it you might also add an option to add EXIF comment where user might define it or NI might put what it did with the picture, i.e. profile and preset used and when it happened. Another nic...
