NI doesn't extract iso rate from Pentax Optio 33L images

 I found a problem in NI 3.17 when I open images taken by Optio 33L. It doesn't show the iso rate, and profile matching doesn't work. I made profiles for this camera, but doesn't work properly because of it. Exifread 3.0 shows iso100, iso200, but not iso400, I don't know why. I can send the 3 t...

v3.1 solved the profile matching problem, so I don't have to remake my device noise profiles. Shhhhhhhh...

OK, I understood! :) I will make the new profiles and leave settings as default. Thanks! (Profile matching is the best feature in this release, and the amazing speed!)

I'm not sure about the defaults (I forgot). :( If I set input device=high, iso rate=match, compression=ignore, exposure=high, and only the new dnp files exists then works fine. If i set exposure=match then the message is: "...Neat Image could not find a device noise profile that matches this im...

I made 2 dnp files for testing. If these too exists only in the profile directory, it works fine. If I set "exposure=match" on the profile matching tab, it gives an error when I try to match. Why? If the old ones are in the directory, it always find the iso100-s4.

OK, no problem, I will do again. It's a good time to check the calibration images again!

Hi Vlad! I use the profile with the same structure in the download area (MD7i Profiles.zip). The profile mathing dir is: "C:\Program Files\Neat Image\PROFILES" Below it exists "MD7i 2560x1920 Fine", below it "iso100", "iso200" etc., and below these the profile...

How do I have to name my profiles to use profile mapping?

How do I have to name my profiles (file name, folder structure) to use automatic profile mapping? I installed 3.0, and it can't find exact profiles (I use the MD7i profile).

Hi Vlad! I was a problem earlier with slow processing (it was aboute 40% slower that it could be). Last week I found the cause. I use Norman Virus Control on my machnie. If the on access scanner is switched on, it degrades the performance of NI about 40%. If I switch it off, it produces normal proce...

OK, I thought that I can VIEW somewhere the exif tag like int the standalone version... I can access with "Copy exif data". Can you put a line somewhere where the exif info stays visible independently from profile?

For the beginners (I am too): 1. Download the profile for your camera. (I use Dimage7i and the profile is rather good) 2. Filtering must be the first step if you use those profiles. 3. Choose the right profile for the exposure (iso, speed). 4. Use the default setting for filtering first time, then r...

The problem is the saving. If I save in JPEG, it preserves EXIF information well. But if I choose TIFF, it doesn't. (2.5 Home)
