I've been thinking the same thing for quite some time now

Last sentence of the second paragraph:

"I personally prefer to clean up image noise in programs such as Neat Image Pro after the image has left the camera, as there is a great amount of control available to the photographer."

Here's a really good article, entitled Beyond Megapixels (three parts), which mentions NeatImage favourably. Just thought I would pass that along...

Hmmm...I am running NeatImage 4.2 on Windows XP with the Classic theme as well, and I do not have any issues (i.e., no DLL errors).

Oh, I too would really like this! I save all of my TIFFs as LZW compressed (due to smaller file size), but I have to remember to resave them as uncompressed TIFFs for use with NeatImage.

I only discovered that 4.1 was available through this post...the main page still says 4.0. Also, the history of changes has not been updated with 4.1 changes. Anyway, as always, I am eager to install and play with the new version. Hats off to you Vlad and the rest of the team for a truly stellar pro...

Yes...true, there is that probem!

Nope, you're not the only one. It has been requested before, and I too prefer the PNG format in many circumstances...although I tend to use TIFF7 to save my digital photos.

Where do you get the color target from? I can only seem to find the black and white one.
