I should have been more clear. Haven't yet loaded in the plug-in. I need to re- install the plug in, manually. Whereas before, when I downloaded the Pro+, it found it's way into photoshop on it's own. Because I re-installed PS, now I have to reinstall NI manually. Have printed out your instructions ...

Photoshop Elements 3 "Bug"

Have worked extensively with it since the release. Since I downloaded Pro + , things went well until I started getting a "DB API failed to initialize" error message. Called Adobe, uninstalled, etc, then ended up creating a new profile since they couldn't resolve the problem in the existing...

Batch Processing

Perhaps I need a good primer/ step by step on batch processing. Maybe that will help me to understand the process better and maybe save some of this guessing.
Many thanks!

Batch Processing Primer

Then why do my images show marked improvement? I've never downloaded profiles from the beginning. Perhaps this happened when I upgraded, then updraded again?

Batch Processing Primer (cont)

I was using the standalone for the batch processing. Oddly, even tho I received status of " not ready", it still saved to the output file I designated.

Also, I checked the profile matching folder, and there's nothing in there.

Batch Processing Primer

JPEG options in PSE3 vs NI

Is there a correlation between the PSE3 JPEG image "save" choices vs NI's "save" options? For example: Is PSE3's JPEG Image Quality save option of High 8 comparable to NI's comp of say, 80? I'm trying to streamline production. I do my PSE3 work first, then run it thru NI, then sa...
