I tried to process your image with Neat Image,too. Could the 'Dither' effect change to an user option?
The resulting image in the 'Output Image tab' seems to have been added the 'Dither' effect;It confuses me because sometimes the effect seems to make my resulting image a little noisy again.Especially in the situation I want to 'neat' the image again and again with my special purpose.

Can't find a flat area larger than '30x30' to analyze noise
How could I analyze the noise of an image named 'noise_1' if neither 'noise_1' contains a flat area larger than (equal to) '30x30' pixels for noise analasis nor there exist any other images produced by the same device producing 'noise_1' too? How could I build a correct noise profile in this case? :...
