Thanks a lot, it worked fine in a different version of PL. So this is a topic for the Photoline-support.

small 16Bit-Layers with transparency/Photoline64

Hello,

I have a problem when filtering an image of less than 800*800 pixels, 16Bit, with transparency. Something is calculated, but nothing appears on the screen.

It works fine when one side is at least 800 pixels wide or with any other combination of 8/16Bit + w/wo transparency.

Maybe... There's a selection of channels similar to PS. When I try it with a RGB-layer, turn off red and green and select blue, Neat Image treats that as an usual rgb-picture. I guess in PS that would open the blue-channel and treat it as a gray picture? Did you give it a try to treat a lab-layer as...

I just tried a Lab-layer in Photoline64. Neat Image is available in the menu, but nothing happens when I click it. It works fine for gray or rgb-layers, though, no matter if it is 8 or 16Bit.

Is this an issue of compatibility, or am I doing it wrong?

Some UI suggestions

Some minor suggestions: When I switched to the interface of the pro-version, I had a strange problem to find the "batch", "cancel" and "apply"-button... This might sound silly, but I think that happened because they were below the options of the view selector, and the b...

Same here. I just retried with a music player and a video running in background.

But I just remembered that the i7 has 4 real + 4 HT-cores. I guess that's why it's only slightly faster with more than 4 cores.

Thanks for adding the missing selector for gray layers to the new version V7. Meanwhile I have found another denoising tool that allows me to choose between RGB, Lab and YCrCb as working space. The results of using Lab and YCrCb were very similar. So maybe you could give it a try and treat a Lab-lay...

The Benchmark for an AMD 1055T:

1 core: 2.67 MPix/sec
2 cores: 5.02 MPix/sec
3 cores: 6.89 MPix/sec
4 cores: 7.73 MPix/sec
5 cores: 8.89 MPix/sec
6 cores: 9.75 MPix/sec

Interesting to see that it scales quite differently compared to the i7

Re: Missing something in the Pro6.2-Plugin

We removed RGB as it often confused our users ("if it is an RGB image then I perhaps should switch to RGB space" - to avoid that) I can agree. ...and because it was not really that much useful. There was another occasion when I intentionally switched to RGB: De-rasterizing scanned prints....

Missing something in the Pro6.2-Plugin

I just upgraded to the 6.2-pro-plugin for 64Bit-Photoline. Nice surface-improvements, but so far I miss 2 things from my older home+. -The old image viewer had contrast/brightness/gamma-slider. I found only brightness in the new one, and I miss the contrast. I used it to make tonal steps(?) distingu...
