Fine-Tuning Decreases Profile Quality

Sometimes fine-tuning decreases profile quality. For example, I get 96% quality with Auto-Profiling but it becomes 94% after fine-tuning and sometimes less. Must I use the original one without fine-tuning with higher quality or fine-tuned one with less quality? Also, here's an image of such a profil...

So, can we select just the center square (bigger one)? Also, sometimes I'm getting better results with semi-manuel profiling than "Auto Profile with Calibration Target" option. As I understood, I can't do that, right?

Why are we using calibration target instead of a regular image when creating a noise profile? What will we lose if we use regular image? For example when creating a profile set for my machine, for a profile, I get %78 quality with calibration target (I know, I can improve it.). With a regular image ...

Noise Profiles for Canon PowerShot SX120 IS

I've made 44 noise profiles with different combinations for Canon SX120. I used automatic white balance for all. Overall profile quality isn't too good (about 70-80%). I hope nothing is wrong. For ISO:80,100,200,400,800,1600 and 1/25 1/30 1/40 .... 1/250. Source image files were 3648 x 2736 pixels. ...
