Would the “lag-problem” be eliminated if you created an OFX version of NV for Sony Vegas?

Sony Vegas Pro 10
Vegas Pro 10 now offers a completely new video effects plug-in architecture based on the Open Effects Association standard. Will NeatVideo support Vegas 10 when it is released in October? Or can Neat Video for OpenFX-compatible applications be used as a plug-in in Vegas 10?
