Premiere-Encore workflow
Should I render the workarea/sequence in Premiere Pro CS4, or can I render the video in Encore? So does Encore know it should use the Neat Video filter that's been used in Premiere?

Problems capturing the frame for profiling
First of all, I'm using PS Elements 4. My problem is that when I want to capture a noise profile, the plugin often says the area is too small. At the bottom of the window the size indicator sometimes reports 64 x 36 (half frame), sometimes 279 x 158, and sometimes even 720 x 288. I never get the ori...

Sorry, I meant vertical... after experimenting a bit more, I found that a better noise profile helped in removing the banding. I also noticed that the PS plugin does not benefit from using a dual core CPU (AMD 4200 X2 in my case).
Noise Ninja does that, now the same image using NN takes 6.3 sec (was 10.9 with AMD 3500+). NeatImage still takes 14.5 secs
