Yes - but I understood the No Lag option has been a work-around introducing some side effect limitations (can't remember now which), so at least this could be avoided, perhaps?

Hi Vlad, I'd be another serious Vegas Pro user, interested in some development of the excellent NeatVideo plugin by utilizing the OFX capabilities VP now offers... The stutter/sudden jumping doesn't happen too often in my edits, but when it does, no work-around seems to help. With Best Regards Piotr

Hi Jøran Yes - Vlad is providing an excellent support; thank you for indicating this forum to me. I agree with your points; in my case both stabilization (Mercalli V2) and de-noising with Neat Video should best be done as a pre-processing, single render. I have tried them in both sequences, but it s...

Thnaks Vlad - that was because of lower res preview, indeed. I have another question, still concerning Vegas and Neat Video's Temporal Filter: - oftentimes, I pre-process particularly noisy clips from my EX1 just to get rid of the noise, and perhaps sharpen to taste. But when a clip is shot hand-hel...

Dear Vlad,

With the new version, when I open the Configure window it doesn't display the full resolution frame (1920x1080) - instead, the frame size in pixels (as reported under NV) is 480x270...

This happens intermittently in Vegas 9.0e 64bit.

What can the reason be?

Thanks Vlad! Will the new SDK announced by Sony help any further? " Video Plug-in SDK : Video Effects Plug-in Architecture: Vegas Pro 10 now offers a completely new video effects plug-in architecture based on the Open Effects Association standard. This industry-leading standard was created from...

Thank you Vlad - the Ctrl+Configure trick works OK.

I'll keep you posted if the crash repeats - so far so good, though.

Vegas Pro 9.0e crashes

This has happened to me several times in similar circumstances, so I'm sure it IS a bug... - Vegas Pro 9.0e 64bit (I'm not sure about the 32 bit version - didn't test) - 2 displays configured (I think the NV configuration window was last open on the 2nd display, now turned off) - pressing the Config...

Do you synchronize (double-click) the clip and filter settings when going from one clip to another? What is this about, Vlad - I assume this doesn't apply to Vegas workflow, or does it? I've noticed that when I want to copy from a "done" clip and "Paste Event Attributes" to anot...

Any number of frames. Manual fine-tuning is a powerful tool. Vlad I've got one more question on his, Vlad. Even when using a single frame, after having added several areas of it (or control points in the curve) to the current profile, any further clicking on the Manual Fine-tune icon doesn't seem t...

Thanks Vlad. I can tell you my nanoFlash clips (either 100 Mbps Long-GOP, or 220 Mbps I-Frame Only), recorded with Detail=OFF on camera (i.e. no sharpening in my Sony EX1), look absolutely gorgeous after rendering them to a lossless intermediate (like 10bit Sony YUV) with Neat Video denoising, and s...

Hi Vlad, This is exactly what I've been doing - but since the Manual doesn't mention it explicitly (or maybe I've snoozed over it ?)) - I never was sure whether or not the new profile fine-tuning"session" still retains the data from the original frame... So, you're saying it does... OK, so...

Multiple frames analysis for Device Noise Profile

After more experimenting with manually building device profiles, I think it would me useful if Net Video could analyze more than a single frame at the time. For example, the darkest area noise existing in frame 1, and mid-range IRE noise prevailing in frame 2 of the same clip. Will it be possible in...

A couple of questions after 1 week usage ...

Hi, So, I've been further experimenting with NV in Vegas, and find it to be a very good tool indeed. I do have a couple of questions, though: 1. Auto mode Device Profile from the simple interface better than carefully build manual one with advanced options On the day one, I let the NV plug-in build ...

Yes, we plan that. Fine, thanks! Is the 32bit version going to be made more similar to what the 64bit version is now, or vice-versa? It's quite important to me as the differences exists also in the workflow for both (in advanced mode mainly). Regarding the zoom, it seems to work correctly Well, I'd...
