Re: Speed Test would be optimized for timeline scrubbing not rendering H.264?
Vlad thanks for your thoughts. I did notice I was wrong that only "copy" was used by GPU, compute_0 is also used (about 15%) during encode (with NeatVideo used in project). Task Manager just wasn't showing computer_0 visually by default. So NeatVideo is putting a load on the GPU, more so t...

Re: Speed Test would be optimized for timeline scrubbing not rendering H.264?
Encoding Time: 05:21:40 ...using Neat Video's optimized CPU/GPU balance. Encoding Time: 03:53:27 ...using Neat Video with only GPU. ...so maybe NeatVideo might want to consider that when PPro is video encoding (at least to H.264) it pins the CPU and barely touches the GPU. So a more optimal balance ...

Speed Test would be optimized for timeline scrubbing not rendering H.264?
NeatVideo recommends a combo of CPU + GPU. But when I render H.264 load is almost entirely put on CPU not GPU. (Premiere Pro CC 2018 using Media Encoder.) I can generally get faster overall render times by rendering uncompressed MOV then doing H.264 as a 2nd pass. However, if short videos and to kee...

v3 look to v4 ?
Just throwing out work-arounds here... maybe v3 could be updated to look to v4 for the global disable? Release an updated v3 to facilitate this? No need for any new UI on v3-update. My project doesn't expire... I'll be using the same project for years to come, and I'm not sure how I'll ever find all...

Reduce Noise v4 in PPro seperate effect
I've not NV effects scattered around my project and was hoping new version would allow me to globally enable/disable them. But it looks like I need to delete the previous (v3) filters and recreate v4 filters? Is there any tool to automate this? Or way I can disable the v3 along with globally disabli...

UI idea?
thanks for fast response. good to know I'm not just missing seeing it. Maybe a running instance of NV is aware of some attributes of project and/or program? If it was an NV disabler (that was a UI independent of the editors) which showed all operating instances of NV... sort of like an NV Task Manag...

Global Disable
Am using PPro. In project, have NV applied to many video clips. Editing/preview with NV enabled is slow. So to edit fast, I need to disable NV but sometimes this is on a great many clips (and I think I'm using multi-cam properly... I'm not applying it to tiny fragments just each camera source but th...

Increase Resolution
I'm doing some zooming in post, and it would be great to have Nice Video replicate some of the functionality of Instant HD by Red Giant, which will take SD or 720p footage and calculate (using temporal data to assist) 1080p frames. It seems to me a feature like this could only be optimally be used a...

I'd also like to see de-banding
Hey I've got a bunch of Aiptek 720p cameras I use for b-roll. Quality is generally poor, so I don't expect miracles. But if there was a denoise option specifically targeted at removing the vertical bands resulting from (what I can only imagine is) CMOS sensor plus heavy compression. Will email Vlad ...
