I found good results with these settings.

Device Noise Profile - Strong Noise - Generic 6 or 7

Treat large splotches of color noise + Mix with Original + Quality - High

I guess the high noise preset is the best option. It just smashes all detail in those area so we get a lens blur effect.

Using noise sample does not fix these issues. Using the NV preset for high noise fixes it but blurs most of the video. Is there an alternative preset or method for these specific types of issues ? There seems to be a performance difference between different apps that use NV.

On the mac, I hear that NV with Premiere Pro Cs5 is the fastest.

On a PC, I hear that the best usage is by NV with Virtual Dub 64-bit.

Can you confirm or deny this please ?
