Re: Noise profiles
In that case, I don't understand why you've said "However it may be a good idea to just build new ones in v5 for better accuracy." ? Can you explain specificaly between : - Importing v4 noise profile to v5 - Rebuilding the noise profile in v5 using the same area (+ several manual fine tune...

Re: Noise profiles
I realise my post, maybe, wasn't specific enough. I was talking all along about converting v4 profile in v5. Because if v5 uses the noise sample inside the v4 profile to rebuild the noise profile, how it could be less accurate than building the noise profile using the exact same video area to create...

Re: Noise profiles
If i've build the noise profile, manual fine tune, and finaly saved with the noise sample. Will all the manual fine tune part be kept, or do i have to redo this manual fine tune part ? My "issue" is that often it tooks me a long time to find a proper noise sample which will be used as base...

Re: A few feature requests
If files are compatibles and if it's so easy, it's nice, thanks
It wasn't the case for v3 to v4, so...
But i didn't read the v5 doc yet, maybe it's written on it.

Noise profiles
Hello.
Is it possible to use/import v4 noise profile in v5, or does it need to be redone ?

Re: Support higher bit depth in VirtualDub plugin.
I don't have anything else, but for safety in your case, FILTERPARAM_NORMALIZE16 is mandatory. My advise (if even needed ) would be to keep it, and not trying to remove it. Like this, you're sure of your data whatever evolution may be in the future. RGB64 "only" is perfectly fine. Th...

Re: Support higher bit depth in VirtualDub plugin.
Personnaly, i just begun to see how integrate >8 bits support on VDub2. Have you talked with shekh about 16 bits support ? As i begins to see how to do things, i've exchange a little with him. Short story, if you don't know : His intend is to support dynamic bitdepth change, in avisynth you have fix...

Re: PC crash
Just to add more information. PSU power can be "tricky". Most of the time, you just have the total power of the PSU (500W, 800W, etc...). But, when you have an CPU with a lot of cores, you have to check what power your CPU uses, and get the full specific datasheet of your power supply (mos...

That's odd that saying that 10 bits support is very incomplete. From what i've checked, because i intend to port some of my VDub filters to >8 bits, everything is in place to do it. But of course, there is only up to 16 bits support, there is no 32 bits float support, like there is on avs+, but ther...

The last time we checked VirtualDub Mod, the support for 10-bit data was very incomplete, so we decided to give the developers some time to work it out. Thank you, Vlad It's VirtualDubFilterMod now which continue the work of Avery Lee. You can check it http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=172021...
