After doing some renders I too see this gridding pattern. Kind of looks like looking through a small screen door.
I have the latest versions of FCP, Quicktime, NV, OSX.

Crossgrade from Windows to Mac?
Hello NV, I have the PC version of Neat Video (couldn't wait at the time for the Mac version) and now that there is a FCP version I was wondering if there is a crossgrade available as opposed to having to purchase the version. I've actually removed Windows from my Mac so the Windows version isn't be...

I actually just booted up to Windows (Intel Mac). Not a great workflow, but useable. Unfortunately I have Vista and I've had a few issues... mainly the a memory issue (Windows only sees 1 GB ram and I have 18GB in the Mac). I may try to give boot camp a try (I also own Premiere for Windows, I tried ...

Hey Guys, in all honesty a 'Pro' price of $99.00 is unheard of. Try looking around the web on how much 'Pro' software costs. I've spent thousands of dollars on software and trust me, $99.00 for what this software can do is nothing. So please, don't complain that you are spending too much and be happ...

Detailed footage looks great, but gradients look bad...
Hello, I've recently been cleaning up some footage for my feature and I've noticed that any image with a lot of detail (less shadow gradients) look great using NV. I basically profile then use a seeing of 60%/100%/0% sharpening. However once I try to use NV on footage with shadows or footage with co...

Will definitely wait for Mac version...
I tried Windows on my Intel Mac and had nothing but problems. I had various crashes (legit copies), difficulties installing programs. I tried downloading trial versions of Premiere Pro CS3 and AE CS3 (since the latest versions support p2 formats), but couldn't get them to work (the trial versions we...

I haven't really worked with After Effects which is why I was steering clear, but maybe I'll try the Windows AE version to see if it will work (I know version 8.0.1 allows direct import of P2 files). If I like how AE works, it may be worth buying (then I'd have to buy two versions and money is an is...

Well I tried the demo of Premiere (unfortunately the version that Adobe has is 3.0 and I need 3.1 since it has the P2 options, and for some reason the Tryout version wouldn't let me update the program) so I couldn't try NV. I'm hesitant to purchase Premiere ($799) to try out NV since it's possible t...

No, I haven't had a chance to try out with Premiere yet (I'm trying the 30 day trial, but I have to set up Windows on my MacPro first). I really don't want to have to buy Premiere Pro, but if it works, I guess it'll be worth it. I might hold off a bit to buy anything to see if the Mac version is rel...

Buy Windows plug now (get Mac version later?)
Hi Vlad, Question. I've been looking at workarounds to use NV now (it seems that the Adobe Premiere Pro allows the use direct use of P2 cards and can save files back into the P2 format, which would work great for my Mac workflow.) But I would only be using the Windows Premiere version until the Mac ...

Ahhh, So Final Cut Studio may not work, huh? Guess I'll have to buy AE then (of course a Final Cut Pro plugin would be fantastic, but I'd even be happy with any Mac version). Also good to hear that the plug could be available in time for me to finish up the feature. Thanks for responding so quickly....

Can't wait for MAC version too!
I've thought about buying the Pro version for Windows but it seems the work flow is too much. I'm about to finish a feature film shot with the HVX200 (and Letus Extreme) and really want to clean up the noise. I also own DE:Noise as well as CHV-Plugins (repair collection) but it seems that Neatvideo ...
