Some requesters ask for too much
Those of you who requested raw image compatibility perhaps do not appreciate the following: 1 Each camera maker have their own, usually proprietary format. Making a program that reads the majority of different RAW formats (Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Minolta etc.) is a huge undertaking --just look at the...

JPEG2000 (Transparency feature) Request again
Just a quick reminder: Please, please give us JPEG2000 file format compatibility in the Standalone version of Neat Image. I bet most people don't know that unlike JPEG, JPEG2000 supports transparency. This means you can save photos consisting of knocked out elements. Instead of saving in PSD (huge f...

Independent Folders
Neat Image is absolutely the best program by far! It continues to amaze me how well it works and what a bargain it is. The latest/current version of Neat Image Pro Plus does not appear to implement Independent folders the way earlier versions did. Stand Alone version: Specifically, if after loading ...

Another Vote
Having a brush for speciifying amunt of noise reduction is a wonderful idea
for Stand Alone and even for the Plug in Version, in my opinion (it may save a a lot of time over masking etc.

JPEG2000 Again
Now that the release of Adobe Photoshop CS (aka PS 8) is expected for November 2003 and it includes JPEG2000, would you please look into making it available as a std. file format in the stand alone Neat Image? Even though I have the PS Plugin version (Neat Image Pro +), I rather like running NI in t...

New Program
This is not a request for a new features in Neat Image, but a suggestion for a completely different program or PShop plugin. Difficult instances of "Selecting objects" in PShop have led to a number of 3rd party products (Magic Mask, Extensis Mask Pro, Auto Mask, Corel Knockout etc.), inclu...

JPEG2000 format support
I mentioned this on the old BB a few weeks ago thinking that the adoption of JPEG2000 was still quite a bit in the future. However I read last week that Adobe has a RAW image & JPEG2000 plugin for $99 (too exp for JPEG2000 alone) available now and that the next version of PShop will support this...

PS
Now that I've re-read the taob's note I can see that there's additional info that taob is talking about --state of the filtration and the queue. I assume that means which files were filtered, which ones remain to be done etc. My suggestion did not cover that, however, having saved jobs lists would m...

Saving Current Que Params
Unless I'm mistaken this covers the same area that my suggestion (on old BBoard) requested. I suggested allowing the queued up jobs (files list, noise, filter params, save format etc.) to be saved with a name (batch file), so that it could be run at a later time. It would let the user setup a group ...
