In the above cases, we recommend to:
- ... use YCrCb Symmetric (preferred) or YCrCb JPEG working color space;
- ... use YCrCb JPEG working color space;
- ... convert the images to RGB before you open and process them in NI (usually in YCrCb JPEG space);

Yes, if you use the auto fine-tuning together with the manual fine-tuning then you need to use auto first and do manual fine-tuning afterwards. Otherwise, the results of manual fine-tuning are overwritten by auto fine-tuning and thus become useless. Yes, you can use auto and manual fine-tuning toget...

Is it/Will it be multithreaded? It is now. You can run queue processing in the background and set up and process an image in the job editor in the foreground. BTW, this amounts to more than two threads already. Does the current Pro version support PNG files? No. If no, do you expect to add this fea...

Thank you Michel. I took a look at the example. Looks nice though I would suggest to combine the filtered image with the original in an image editor (please check this thread for more details on partial filtration: http://www.neatimage.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11 ). In this way, it will be easy to ...

Yes, it is possible to filter video in this way. One of our users reported that he succeded by doing the following: 1) split the video file into a series of still image files (BMP, TIFF, or JPEG) 2) compose a batch file with commands like the following: NeatImage.exe image00345.tif image00345_clean....

Dan, thank you for the suggestion. In fact, we all understand that preserving the jobs in one way or in another can be beneficial. The only question is about a simple and logical way to implement this. We are considering this question. I hope this feature will be added soon. Thank you once again. Vlad

Thanks for the suggestion. Of course it would be very good to implement a COM interface as well, but most likely it will not be used by the majority of users.. Photoshop is not a very good example: they support COM while standard old clipboard fuctions do not work (with large images). Meanwhile, tha...

I think you may run into a trouble with this. NI does process ALL command line parameters when a single NI instance is used. However, when you start one instance of NI just to send an image to another instance of NI, then it is only the image what is being sent, not other possible command line param...

Neat Image reduces noise, which constitutes a signigicant part of the original image file's volume. There is nothing strange that noise-free image is compressed better by JPEG; it is the property of the JPEG compression method. Neat Image Home/Pro edition save images into completely lossless formats...

In building profiles you need two things: image area suitable for profiling and knowledge of the device mode. It follows from your post that you can get an image with large enough featureless areas suitable for profiling. What you need then is to identify what parameters of your imaging device signi...
