I tried both (with the option to save enabled): - saved a profile for my camera (I closed and exited the NV environment many time since then; each time I re-used the saved profile by loading it) - today I made some modifications to it and saved under another name In both cases, when I display any of...

Noise sample NEVER saved with Profile
Regardless of the Profiling Options settings, no sample gets saved with my profiles (all .nfp files being just 1 kB).
Why is that?
I should have added: Vegas 9 Pro 64bit under Vista x64.

Thanks Vlad, I was using quite a good profile (88%) - so I guess I should try your second suggestion now (increasing the noise levels in the Filter settings). However, I'm not quite sure whether I should actually increase them (more elements will be considered noise) - are you sure I shouldn't do th...

More control over sharpening
In my initial test of NV in Vegas, I noticed that sharpening (being so useful in this plug-in) tends to add feature lines which are a bit too contrasty and thick. I mean, with low Y values the effect is too weak; increase the value and the edges become very unnatural and look almost "embossed&q...

Thanks a lot, Vlad. Your software is just brilliant, so I hope SCS will just catch up soon... Thanks, and Best Regards Piotr PS. Please keep me informed. I'm a nanoFlash user, so I deal with very high bitrate, high quality video whose only shortcoming is the excessive noise. The lack of compression ...

Dear Vlad, As I said, I didn't want to sound harsh. It's just that I'm having lots of problems in how Vegas is handling my nanoFlash files (augmented noise), and MXF format in general (crashes due to memory hog at playback/smart render). I have spent several weeks to conclude that the high bitrate n...

Any new development on the Vegas issues? I'm a new NV user, and I must say this forum thread made me worried. It seems that for years, the NV plug-in for Vegas Pro has not been a fully functional product (not being able to properly do temporal adjustment - no matter whose fault this is), and yet it'...

Noise into color banding: will 32bit f.p. help in Vegas Pro?
First time poster here, and a new NV user in Vegas 9 Pro ! First impressions are OK, even though it's sooooo slow :( With my EX1 or nanoFlash mxf files (full HD in 4:2:2, at 35 Mbps and up), it renders at some 2 fps on my (little old) QX6700... A couple of questions: 1. In my result clips I can see ...
