DV - NTSC makes an interlaced project so it is normal that FCP sends fields (instead of frames) to Neat Video, and Neat Video shows one of them in the viewer.

Does the rendered file look normal or it is also stretched with half the height?

If the NV FC plug-in shows half of the frame then it is not frame but one field. This is normal for interlaced clips/projects.

I hope soon, but I don't want to make promises at this point (you never know when it concerns Vegas). We still have to extensively test it in the current and new version of Vegas.

There is an SDK released a while ago (the most recent change in it was done in 2006). It has not been updated since then.

This is not the right SDK, but thanks anyway. :-)

Please save the project to the folder where you keep the clip file. Then compress that folder into an archive (like ZIP) and send the archive file by e-mail.

Thank you,

Could you e-mail us a small sample project (the complete FCP project with a short clip)? We would open the project and render it to directly reproduce the effect. It is important to be able to reproduce the effect, not just see the final result.

Thank you,

We haven't seen such an effect. Could you e-mail (to support [at] neatvideo.com) a small sample project (with a short clip) that would demonstrate this effect after rendering the clip? We would directly reproduce the effect and check what exactly is going on.

Thank you,

Re: HD Rendering in Vegas 8.0 issue

Hi I have a demo version of NeatVideo, im using Vegas 8.0, and I'm running on Vista x64. The main problem is that when i start the render, the noise reduction is only in the center of the footage, and the top left corner the bottom and a bit of the right side are not changed. This is a limitation o...

Regarding the current version of Neat Video, I think it will work with new 32-bit Vegas. We will be able to directly test that only after receiving the new Vegas. Regarding the 64-bit Vegas, we work on a new version of Neat Video that will support such Vegas too. I'll post an announcement in this fo...

If you open a frame in Neat Video (in its internal viewer) from Vegas and see that the frame looks brighter or darker than it should that means Vegas provided such data to Neat Video and it is a question to Vegas why it did that. Neat Video itself does not try to change the luminance range. This may...

That means the noise sample (the area used for main noise analysis) is not entirely uniform in the Y channel. However, 84% is good enough and I wouldn't try to increase it to 100% just for the sake of having it maxed. The final filtration results would most likely not change much.

Please open the profile viewer and check the values there. Usually it is clear what is less than perfect in the profile.

3 videos, each 10-15 min. Sounds like the Demo stops after 30 minutes due to its limitation. Why don't you order a license if you use Neat Video for serious work? The non-Demo versions do not have this time limit.

Thanks,
