Usually you don't need to calculate any of the numbers because NI does take care about all this. Moreover, if attention should be paid to certain frequency range, then NI does this too. What frequency ranges deserve this attention depends not so much on image magnification but on the properties of n...

Auto fine-tuning is faster but may be less accurate. Manual fine-tuning is potentially more accurate but usually takes more time. So, you have a choice, which depends on your priorities. Also, you can always do auto fine-tuning first and then do some more manual fine-tuning analyses to see whether t...

Thank you for suggestions. Yes, it would be good to have more space there. It seems that the only way to implement this is to reduct image area. BTW, did you notice that a screen hint shows the full name of the profile and preset when you place the mouse pointer over the displayed text string? Your ...

marcus, Thank you for your comments and questions. I will answer now: 1) No, you don't need to select anything to apply auto fine-tuning. Auto fine-tuning finds everything on its own. 2) If the 10 filtration jobs in the queue have individual profiles and presets, then each of the images with be filt...

Dan, Thank you for bringing this up and suggesting a poll. Yes, we still have a lot of work with NI itself (plugin version, Mac version, etc.), but after that we may do something about the suggested subject. That depends on the many factors including the opinions of people who vote. So, we are not p...

You may try increasing the filter priority (in the Options) if it is too low. Also, the processing time depends on the filter settings. The time I quoted above was measured with the default filter settings. If you turn on the very low frequency filtration, then processing takes more time. There may ...

marcus,
I would expect that image to be processed in less than 2 minutes on your computer. On P4m 1.4GHz, it takes 3 and half minutes.
Also, there is an earlier thread related to the same topic:

P.S. I wonder what is 120Ghz hard disk.
