Looks like NV is asking AE to provide a relatively small amount of memory (3MB) and AE is failing to provide it. AE first reports its failure to get the required free memory from Windows and then NV says the same once again when no memory is provided by AE on request. There is not much NV can do in ...

Thank you for the clip. Yes, it is more clear now. The effect is caused by the fact there are dublicated frames in the main clip (each frame participates two times). To correctly operate in Vegas, NV has to apply special treatment to dublicate frames in general and in some cases this leads to droppi...

Have you added blank frames? Could you e-mail me the clip with added frames? I will try to directly reproduce the effect.

Thank you,
Vlad

Since such errant frames are either in the beginning or end of the clip, you can overlap these parts of the clip with the preceding and/or consequent clips for a few frames. This would replace the errant frames with frames from other clips.

I think it should be fine as long as NV is the first in the layer of the clip.

Re: Some After Effects questions

1. I am doing some relighting of scenes using 3d lights. I am also using Neat Video on the same clips. Before adding lights I take my noise sample and set-up Neat Video. Is this the right workflow? When using Neat Video in AE, it is very important to make NV the first in the stack of filters applie...

Thank you for the suggestion. Having a dedicated grayscale mode could be useful, especially if that was directly supported by plug-in hosts. However, even the current version of Neat Video can used to efficiently process grayscale video data represented as RGB: - if you set the noise reduction amoun...

Re: Does profiling then downsizing a video affect the filtra

Hi, I own a full hd camcorder but most of the time I render 960x540 or 720x405 videos because of speed... and that most people (including myself) don't own yet a HD tv... That being said, can I filter my raw 1920x1080p video to create a good profile, resize to something lower than 720x??? and then ...

I will comment about some points: 3. please make sure you correctly build a noise profile in this step; do not just switch from the Device Noise Profile tab to the Noise Filter Settings tab, build a new noise profile using Auto Profile (in this page about Neat Image, please see the step 3, it explai...

Yes, 4 fps sounds about right for this processor and frame size.

Not many requests for audio so far. I also heard of existing tools for audio filtration. It may be efficient to run them along with NV, you could try that, that should be possbile in VirtualDub. To evaluate the filtration speed, please let me know the frame size in pixels and FPS you get when using ...

Did the installer work without errors? When did you get that error message? Normally, the NeatVideo installer should automatically install the plug-in and make it available in Vegas. If that happens then it is not necessary to manually drag the plug-in to Vegas for registration. Have you checked whe...
