First of all, please make sure you use the latest version of NV. Also, please make sure that you have selected the clip and frame in the clip in the time line in Vegas, before you open and adjust NV. It is important that the clip is selected and the point in time currently selected in the time time ...

I expect it will. Sony wants to keep compatibility with plug-ins written for older versions of Vegas, and we also want to preserve compatibility.

I guess the problem is in video codecs. You may have to install a fresh version of DivX codecs to make that clip readable in Vegas. You can also try to clean any other clip, for example use any of your own clips and then process it with NV using the steps described in the user guide (pages 8-18 ). V...

Yes, this is possible (provided the transfer is made to the same edition of NV).

This is an incomplete download by the browser you use. Please try to clear the browser cache (to not let the browser re-use the locally cached incomplete version of the file; otherwise it will not actually re-download from the website when you try to re-download), restart the browser and then try to...

Thank you for suggesting Digital Fusion. As far as I remember this is the first time someone suggests that host. We will certainly consider it. Perhaps it will be possible to make the AE plug-in work in that host.

Thank you!

Yes, and it is caused by the same problem of the plug-in host (Avid+adapter for VD plug-in). Once the host is able to support the required functionality, we can make NV work without such a stutter. It does work correctly with such transitions in plug-in hosts that support the required functionality ...

There is no settings that would be best for all possible videos (otherwise we would simply fix those settings in the temporal filter and not let user adjust them), everything depends on the video you work with. Well, the default settings could be considered a kind of compromise but you still have to...

Strat, we more or less know what is causing the problem. It starts in Vegas and that is why we contacted Sony on Jun 30 and then again on Jul 18. They responded on Jul 19 with the following: Thank you for contacting Sony Creative Software. I apologize for the lengthy response time to your technical ...

I cannot say why there is any difference without running the actual project and seeing its results. Perhaps there is something in the project and/or Premiere settings that produces such an effect. One of the possibilities is bad compression settings that make the quality of the saved clip lower than...

Re: Newbie help required...

When I drag neat video onto the clip and then preview without changing any settings or building a profile Building a profile is a necessary step in using NV. Without a noise profile, NV will not apply adequate noise reduction. I recommend to build a noise profile for your video sequence and then ch...

Yes, it is too much for compressed data, so it is likely to be uncompressed and that is caused by the codec/encoder used. Neat Video is not part of the compression process so I would look into the host (whether it is Liquid or VirtialDub) compression settings in the first place.
