So, in that case, what is the problem ???? Your file size is normal for an uncompressed video. I mean : 720x480x3x11x29.97 = 341801856, for video only. Having the file filtered or not as nothing to do with it. If you want a smaller file, select a compression codec in the output format. If you don't ...

What are you using ? VDub ? Another ?
This is typicaly the size of an uncompressed video.
For exemple, with VDub, output is by default in uncompressed mode,
so, if you don't specify any output compression format, you have
an uncompressed video.

The others, some name speak for themselves, otherwise, realy
don't want to spend time explaining, as some are very specific
for my very specific needs.

For VHS, the both wich may be the most usefull are already explained
in my previous post.

I don't konw if this is the kind of noise NV have been made for.

The filter i've been typicaly used to remose VHS dropout is a vertical
median filter with a threshold level. It work correctly.

What software are you using ? If it's VDub, i can provide something
to you.

What to do if noise differ ?

Hello. I've a question. I've a video where sometime there is noise on frames, sometime there is no noise at all. When there is noise, it's always "the same", so , a build profile for the noisy part can easely be build. Of course, the noise/no noise are so mixed, that it's impossible to spl...

Second suggestion : A black & white mode

My other suggestion is more generic, and not specific to VDub. I think having a black & white (or Y only) mode could be interesting. This mode would work this way : - Process only Y channel => speed improvement. Cb and Cr channel simply put to 0 (or 128). - In manual tuning, no message about &qu...
