The difference is the maximum frame size supported, rendering and quality is the same in all editions. If you see too much blur then the problem may be in settings/noise profile you use.

Neat Image noise reduction targets noise, typically random noise that changes over time and within each video frame. Did you restart AE after registering NV? Do you run it in an administrator or user account?

Please check if you have the Vista UAC enabled, perhaps it is UAC causing the trouble to the additional instances of the filter.

I think this is some kind of technical glitch. We will try to reproduce this effect to see what is causing it. I will report back here if we find a solution.

I guess the problem is either in codec or Vegas. Try to save without compression, perhaps that will make a difference.
