Moire?

Post by Sally »

After running some Jpeg images through NI, I have noticed when viewing the images on the screen afterwards, Moire like patterns in the bokeh, which I have never seen before. The Moire is very noticable on the computer screen, so I can't use the images afterwards and I am currently not able to print any off to see if the Moire is still visable, as I am waiting for a new printer.

Any ideas please?

Also, is it ok to just click 'remove all noise', or should I work on each different type of noise individually?

Thanks. :)

Could you send a sample before/after image to support [at] neatimage.com to illustrate the issue? I would like to directly reproduce it to see what is causing it.

It is ok to use the default settings or 'remove all noise', they are only different in the amount of noise that is removed.
