Feature to show instant color feedback on the curve when mouse over image

I'm doing manual tuning to create my noise profile, one thing I find annoying is that when building the noise curve, I found myself constantly going over every part on the image (drawing square box) to find the right color that can fill in the RGB nodes on the curve. I want something like when my mouse hover over any part on the image, the curve will give instant feedback highlighting the corresponding node instead, that will save a lot of time.
