If you use the 20D with Neat Image 4, these noise profiles may be useful. They are based on the standard Neat Image test target http://www.neatimage.com/testtarget.html shot out of focus on a copystand with two incandescent floodlights. I started out shooting a blank sheet for white balance and applied that to get neutral color (custom WB). Each ZIP has 6 files, for ISO100 through ISO3200. The camera settings are Normal for Contrast, Sharpness and Color Sat, 0 Color Tone, sRGB. I did the conversion from RAW CR2 to 16-bit TIF with the Canon EOS Viewer Utility v1.1.0.15 using all default settings, as above.
