We have published the first version of the new Neat Video 5 Second Revision (or SR) plug-in for Final Cut to support FCP on both Apple Silicon M1 and Intel-based Mac computers. It is a whole new implementation of the plug-in to meet the new requirements of the latest versions of Final Cut running on M1 machines. Please read more about it in the announcement.

Thank you,
Vlad

P.S. We continue to work on supporting Apple Silicon in other plug-ins.

Hey Vlad, I was talking all the time about Premiere CC, as I mentioned before. I need to work with the new version, when can I expect the Plugin?
I understand your workload, but it's really going on for month now.

Premiere itself does not support M1 yet. It works using Rosetta at this time. The same way it can use the current version of the plug-in for Premiere. I believe you use Premiere and plug-in this way currently, is that correct?

We continue to work on a native M1 support in that plug-in, but it should be clear that actually using it in Premiere will become possible only when Premiere itself adds official support for M1.

All the other companies had finished their plugins for working with the M1 supported version of Adobe so far. You always said
that you need stuff from Adobe, then you replied to me and others in April that you are preparing it now and that it will be
hopefully available soon:

""It is being prepared as well. Hopefully will be completed soon."

And now you have to wait for the final version again? Please elaborate, because I really don't get it. i'am very happy for your work on
that gerat plugin, but I really want to work with the Adobe Premiere Beta version, which work relay good so far, expect for one plugin...

"It is being prepared as well. Hopefully will be completed soon."

Yes, that is still correct.

We continue to work on M1 support in the plug-in for Premiere and AE.
Premiere has a beta for M1. There is no such beta of AE. So some things cannot be fully tested yet.

In any case, we continue to work on both plug-ins for Adobe applications.
There will be an update here when we have further news on those.

Thank you,
Vlad
