App specific OFX plugin

I was wondering what is the reasoning behind the price difference between OFX vs everything else. I figure that's because OFX can be used in a number of hosts?
Now, I am eyeballing NV OFX with the idea of using it with Resolve Lite. I don't really care about any of the other OFX hosts. It strikes me as odd that in order to use NV with Resolve Lite which is free I need to pay more than what I have to pay in order to use NV with a bunch of paid host applications. This doesn't feel right.
So I guess the question is, any chance of app specific OFX NV versions, i.e. a Resolve only version, etc?
