Inconsistent Application

When I set up the filter the preview frame looks great, however when I apply the filter to the entire clip, the rendering is very inconsistent. Frames go soft so that the playback looks wavy. Most of the frames are fine, but every second or so a few go soft. The video is of a sit down interview and there is very little change in the clip other than the person talking. Tried many different settings but can't find the answer. Using Sony FS7 footage XAVC-I in Premiere CC2015. Have the latest version of Neat. I have something set wrong.

Could you prepare a small test project with a short clip that allows to reproduce this problem and send it to support [at] neatvideo.com ?

We will open your project, render it, get the results you describe and then check what causes that. Perhaps something is not right in the filter settings. Perhaps the noise profile is not good (the most common cause of problems). Perhaps some other issue in the project itself (order of effects may play a role). We will check alll that.

Thank you,
Vlad

Upon further testing I find it appears happens when the neat pluggin is used in an adjustment layer rather than applied to the clip itself. Will send a project once I play with it a little more. Thanks.

I do not recommend to apply it to an adjustment layer in recent versions of Premiere because of a bug in Premiere itself, which affects the effects like Neat Video. We could find a workaround (more details here) for the case of applying the filter directly to the clip, but in adjustment layers it is more difficult to avoid that Premiere bug.
