Linux how?

I see the neatvideo.com front page says "Runs in Wine in Linux". How is this acheived? Do you have to run one of the supported editors "Adobe Premiere Pro / Elements, After Effects, VirtualDub and Sony Vegas / Movie Studio" in wine and run neat inside that? Or is there some other methodology?

Can't find any other mention of linux in the docs or on the website or forums.

Thanks for any info. The plugin looks great and comes highly recommended.

Nick.

Yes, and I recommend to try that using VirtualDub, it should be easier to get it running there.

I thought that might be the case. I have never used vDub in linux, but have layed in windows and have to say I find avidemux a better solution.

Have you thought about a version of neat for avidemux? It is a nice cross platform editor/encoder. Broadly similar to vDub in scope of work, but more flexible in my humble opinion :-)

Oh and thanks for the prompt reply!

Not yet, but we will consider this option. Thank you for the suggestion! :-)
