@Vlad, I was wondering if noise profile is the same for a given camera/lens/set of shooting parameters no matter what you're shooting.

I mean if I build a set of noise profiles for my camera with the calibration target for each value of ISO+aperture+frame rate+shutter speed, will I ever have to build another noise profile?

Do external parameters as light or movement affect noise, or is noise only generated in-camera?

The noise is generated inside the camera but it is affected by the shooting conditions. It is a good idea to build a set of profiles for different values of the most important parameters such as ISO (also see the user guide for a table of parameters) and then load one of them for a clip and additionally Auto Fine-Tune the loaded profile to the current clip.
