Hellou,

seems that all new users of speed grade 7.1 and neat video have a huge problem. In order to prevernt the new version of speed grade from crashing they have to uninstall the neat video plugin from premiere. A number of reports have been made on this subject in the last 2 days including myself. Since I need tjhe neat video as well as speed grade for day to day work, let us know if there is anyway to keep both of these programs working...and if yes...how...

here is a few quotes from the adobe forum

Yep, removed the Neatvideo plugin from Premiere Pro and Speedgrade opens fine. The only problem is I need that plugin (I paid for it and should be able to use it).

Yes, we also received some messages about that. We are currently helping Adobe to find a way to make Speedgrade work properly. It is that recent update of Speedgrade that triggered the problem.

The simplest solution for now (for the Mac version of Premiere and Speedgrade) is to move (not copy but move) Neat Video plug-in (alias) from
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-Ins/7.0/MediaCore
to
/Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC/Adobe Premiere Pro CC.app/Contents/Plug-Ins/Common/

Hope this helps,
Vlad

Does this work with the PC version as well?

I am not sure the PC version of Speedgrade is affected at all.
The workaround should help but I am not sure it is really needed. Please try to install Neat Video as is, without any manual adjustments.

Thank you,
Vlad
