uninstalling Neat Video 2 in Final Cut

Hi. I have just acquired the version 3 for Final Cut Pro.

In the indications I received over the email it says: "Please destroy older copies of Neat Video for Final Cut as well as its license to avoid a possible mix of versions."

Can you please help me through with a clean process? I am in the middle of an important project and would not like to ruin anything.

Thanks so much.
Ana.

You can simply delete the old e-mail with your license and download instruction as well any older downloads. And then use only the new ones. That should be sufficient.

When installing the new version, make sure FCP is fully closed.

Thank you,
Vlad

Thanks Vlad.

I forgot to say that I still have the v2 version.
Should I delete any former folders and/or files of the v2, as this new email says, before installing the v3 one?

Also, I am on Snow Leopard v. 10.6.8; my Final Cut is 7.
Thanks again.
Ana.

No, that is not necessary. Please close FCP and then install the new version.

Thank you,
Vlad
