I use NI, GIMP and QIMAGE in my work flow
Kindly help me to pick the right WF.
WF1): Camera -> Neat Image filtering + turn on sharpening - > then other processing on my editing program > print (no need to sharpen again)
WF2): Camera -> Neat Image filtering with no sharpening - > Then processing - > at the end sharpening using the editing tool) gimp) - > print
WF3): WF1 -> sharpening again -> print
I usually prefer to do sharpening at the end of my work flow. I learned this from books and in real life I see that sharpening is best to do at the end. Now , this rule does not let me use the neat image built in smart sharpening, since I am using NI soon after I download the image from camera.
I have been using NI for a long time ( demo). I recently bought the Home + v5.2. So far, I am so much impressed with NI, and I want to convince myself to use NI built in sharpening in my WF. Your kind suggestions please?
(You might say that, our eyes are the best judge, so perform the sharpening again if you want to!! , but sharpening always shows some effects, so I llike to minimize the same)
BTW, NI is the best $50 I have ever spent!
