NeatVideo 3.5.0 > Button "Optimize"

Post by Herbie »

Hello together,

I have used the button Auto Profile to build a new noise profile.

My next click was on the button „Tools“ then „Preferences“ and then „Performance“.

I use CPU and GPU, my graphic card is a GeForce GTX 780.

Now, when I click the button „Optimize“ and then here the button „ start“, I get the combination of CPU and GPU, in my example:

Best combination: CPU (5 cores) and GPU (GeForce GTX 780) – 16.9 frames/sec.

Now I can click the button „Accept best combination“.

My question is: What happens now ? Does it relate only to the rendering speed or does it relate also to the quality ?

What makes the difference, when I perform this procedure or not ?

Can someone explain to me well understood that, please?

Sorry, but my english is not perfect, but I hope I can be understood anyway.

Regards

That only affects speed, not quality.

If you want the plug-in to work with the highest possible speed on your hardware then it makes sense to run Optimize and accept its results.

Please kindly see the user guide for more details.

Thank you,
