What's the best workflow for using Neat Video on 4k footage in Premier CC?

Here's what I'm doing now:

1. I have the 4k video at 50% scaled because my output is 1920x1080.
2. Apply NV with preview at 100% resolution
3. Render media

OR should i downsize the 4k video to 1920x1080 first, then place is in the timeline, then run NV on it?

Also does NV work on adjustment layer across many clips under it?

Thanks!

I think NV would work both ways but of course it would be faster to process a lower resolution clip. So if you make sure Neat Video receives 1920x1080 (as reported inside Neat Video window) then Neat Video will work faster than if it had to process the whole 4k frame.

Regarding adjustment layers, that may work but be careful, there is a bug in current versions of Premiere that requires a workaround. That workaround may not work with adjustment layers.
