Neat Video 5 versus 4 for Premiere Pro

Hi all. . .

Currently, I have the Neat Video plugin for Premiere Pro. I am running it on DJI X5R footage and whereas the denoising looks great, the image stutters like mad.

The only way I'm able to make this work is to color process the clip, export it as a new file, then reimport the colored clip back into Premiere Pro and process it with Neat Video 4. It looks great, but. . .

1. Surely there is a better way to eliminate the stuttering.

2. What does Neat Video 5 do for me that Neat Video 4 doesn't?

Thanks.

Stephen

If you apply color correction together with Neat Video please make sure you take into account the ideas of this article.

If you apply any speed adjustments to the video, then please also see the known issues page. Some of those points may be applicable.

Neat Video 5 has many improvements. Most of those are described in this news article.

Thank you,
Vlad
