NV & Premiere CS5 Slow-Motion

Wondering when doing speed ramps or general slow motion on 60i clips, is it advisable to NR the full-speed clip BEFORE rendering it to a different speed?

I guess I'm asking if your plugin is doing it's duty before Premiere is altering the speed of the clip (and also interpolating)

The footage is 720x480x60i DV coming from a VHS capture that is being processed to eventually become 24p (23.976) on a DVD and has Premiere-generated slow motion in various speed percentages/ramps.

Thanks!

I would reduce noise in the original clip in the first step and only then change the speed in any way. This should ensure more accurate temporal filtration (since it relies on consequent frames from the original video clip; when speed is changed, the sequence of frames is changed).
