Neat Video & Neat Image community

Hey there,
i been using neat video and AE CC 2014 on a 2009 MacPro with osx 10.11.4.
I am denoising RED footage. but after several frames of rendering with all (16) cores, the usage drops to 2-3 cores (basically ALL virtual cores are at 0).
Can you help me getting the initial speed back?

Does that happen if you use any other kind of footage, not encoded using RED codecs?
