Loss of contrast with ProRes 422 footage

I see it's a known issue with 10 bit codecs. Is there a fix being worked on?

I'm trying to clean up 8mm film scans that are best output in ProRes files from the scanner. I don't want to have to render to another format if at all possible.

Yes, it is a known issue present in Premiere CC 2019. Please note that it is in Premiere itself and it affects a class of processes and effects including certain third-party plug-ins doing temporal processing like Neat Video does.

We have informed Adobe about the problem. I hope that the problem is being worked on by the developers of Premiere now. We do not yet have any specific information on the progress from them. I guess the fix may become available in one of the next updates of Premiere itself.

Thank you,
Vlad

Hi, is this problem is still présent in the last version of premiere?
I have downgraded my premiere version and I wait for upgrading to avoid this problem.

Thanks

We believe that problem was fixed in Premiere CC 2019 v13.1.3.
