weird frame resize in fcp 6.0.6

i get a frame resize from 720/576 (original clip, sequence settings) to a weird 506/576 in the plugin window. it also brought it down to 447/358 on some other clips. Is there a way to fix that? thanks

It seems to be a kind of feature of FCP..
Please try to set the FCP viewer's zoom level to 100% and also enable/disable the Neat Video effect to reset the render cache of the current frame. This usually forces FCP to send a frame of the right size to the plug-in.
