There is intra-frame preview in Neat Video: when you click the image, the image changes from filtered to original. That makes it easier to compare two versions (to see how the noise is reduced and how details are preserved) than in a side-by-side comparison.

Also, host applications where NV is used often offer different forms of comparison including side by side. So even if it is not available in NV, such a comparison can be made using tools of the host application. Perhaps that is the simplest way too.

This is only true when applying the spatial filters.

When applying the temporal filter effect can not be displayed in the preview of Neat Video, but only by comparing the frames side by side.

Which is why I mentioned the host and its preview tools. The host application offers actual playback and live preview and that is the best place for such comparisons. I think there is little benefit in duplicating that functionality inside NV itself.
