First frame and last frame darker then rest of shot?
First frame and last frame darker then rest of shot?
If I put the effect on a shot, a lot of times (almost all the time) the first frame and the last frame are darker then the rest of the video. If I put the Temporal Filter Radius to 0 and render it's gone, what is the deal with that?
Well here is an example of what I mean:

First frame different than the rest of the clip
yup, I'm having the same issue on my time line right now
Please make sure you build an accurate noise profile after adding Neat Video to the clip. With an inaccurate noise profile, darkening of the edge frames is possible. As soon as the profile is right, darkening should disappear. The key is build an accurate noise profile for your clip.
Hope this helps,

You have to select a suitable area for Auto Profile, that's the key. Such an area should contain visible noise and no real details. If you are not sure please e-mail (to support) a sample project with a short clip and NV added to it with a noise profile you have built. We will check if the profile is good and whether the effect is generally reproducable on our computers. If it is then we will try to find a solution.
