Auto match: Auto fine-tune always improving results?

Hi,

I'm using NeatImage mostly for batch processing with auto-match profile feature selecting the appropriate profiles according to ISO...

I was wondering, if the auto fine-tune option - if additionally enabled - may happen to produce worse results compared to just using the auto-match option alone ??

I.e., may auto fine-tune result in less noise being reduced or more image details being lost ?

Or can safely be stated that noise reduction can only improve with auto fine-tune enabled?

Does anyone have experience with that?

I have seen no examples where AFT would make things worse.

If anyone experience something like this please let me know.

Thanks for the feedback. Resolves some concerns I had about using AFT for batch processing.
