Safe Settings for batch process'

Post by boliver »

(Sorry - I posted this same question on the "Using Neat Image" - I am new and didn't see this more appropriate area)

I'm looking for recommendations for reasonably safe settings for batch processing a bunch of photos taken from different cellphones. Since the profile for each image will be created on the fly (since the images didn't come from only one device), the profile won't necessarily be perfect.

I would like to both reduce noise and sharpen the image since cellphone images are both noisy and less than sharp!

Using the default "Filter and Sharpen" seems to blur the image too much on images with poor profiles.

Does anyone have an idea for good all around filter settings (ones that will rarely do harm but will likely make significant improvements)?

Thank you in advance,

Bill
