I have a Mac Pro Late 2013 with a 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 and 2x AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB.

I use neat (3.5.0) with FCPX (10.2.3) and find the render times to be painfully slow. I've completed the 'optimize' procedure in the preferences but can't seem to do better than around 23fps working on 1080p video.

Are there any rule or thumb tips for speeding up render times?

Also, does it anyone know if render times improve in neat V4 and if so, by roughly how much??

I recommend to update to the latest v3.6.1, because 3.5 is somewhat old.

Anyway, 23fps for 1080p is actully pretty good for a modern computer.

Larger temporal radius leads to slower render, smaller radius provides faster processing, but the amount of noise reduction decreases.

The filter is more complicated in v4 so the amount of computation is actually increased there. However we have managed to preserve the speed at about the same level as v3. So it is about the same fast/slow as v3 if you use both with the same settings (for example the same radius).

Please run a test of v4 using Neat Bench. This will give you an idea of expected speeds with v4 plug-in.

Please suggest Best option for below Hardware. It is taking 40mins. to export one Min. clip with Neat Video + Basic Color & Brightess settings.
Or what basic things need to change to get better export/render speed.

According to the optimization results, the best combination is CPU (11 cores) and GPU (Quadro K2200). Please accept the results of optimization.

Please also check if the speed of render changes when you use a different clip format. Premiere may work slower with some video clip formats than with others.
