Motion 5

Post by frenchps49 »

Installed the new version of Neatvideo for Motion 5.
When I get into Motion, the "Neat Video" file appears but it is empty.
What mistake did I make?
An incompatibility with another plugin?
Can you help me?
Thank you.

Where does it appear? Which file? Please kindly make a screenshot to clarify that. Please send it to support [at] neatvideo.com

Look for it in Motion > Library > Filters > Neat Video > Reduce Noise.

Thank you,
Vlad

Motion > Library > Filters > Neat Video > Reduce Noise
That's exactly where the plugin "Reduce Noise" is not present.
Library > Filters > Neat Video (is empty)

I have checked and everything has installed in the right place on my hard drive.

But I'll contact support anyway.
Thanks

Do you see plug-ins in other groups there (like Library > Filters > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask)?

Please contact support and send in some screenshots to illustrate the issue. Include a shot of the contents of the folder /Applications/Neat Video for Final Cut/

Thank you,
Vlad

Hi, did you resolve this problem?

I have the same issue installing on a new Mac with a clean install of FCP X and Motion 5 (no other third party plug ins) the Neat folder is there but it's empty...

Reinstall OS X?! Really??

Is that what you had to do?

It's a clean install with nothing done apart from updates, FCP X and Motion 5 installed then Neat!

Apparently something didn't install or didn't update right that's why I had to reinstall it.
