Clean Video First or Clean as part of the porject?

Post by robgtx »

Hello all,

I am a new user of the Neat Video plug-in for Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. My situation is that I have a old 2-hour video that I wish to clean-up as well as edit.

My video is captured at 720 X 480, 29.97 FPS.

Is it best to first clean the raw video with Neat Video and export each clip then apply my edits and transitions?

Or is it better to do the cleaning and editing all at once?

Thanks,
Rob

If you are going to do a lot of editing then perhaps it is easier to clean first and edit clean versions of the clips simply because this will be faster. Cleaning itself is not fast, so once it is done you don't need to re-do it again and again when trying different versions in your editing process.
Well, it all depends on the character of the editing.
