my problem is that I'd like to remove grain from images produced by video. I can see at this moment, the only work around is to convert the video images to JPG and have it run through this software to remove the grain. But I'd like to do this as a batch process. How does the batch process work?
My question is. Does NI v2 allows me to supply a noise profile as parameter to the batch process?
It would be nice if you can develop a plug-in for AE that uses NI technology?
Grain Surgery is just too expensive.

Yes, it is possible to filter video in this way. One of our users reported that he succeded by doing the following:
1) split the video file into a series of still image files (BMP, TIFF, or JPEG)
2) compose a batch file with commands like the following:
4) reassemble the video file from the set of filtered images
So, to answer your question - yes, NI does use noise profile (and filter preset) as parameters.
